"The Gateway to the Pines" Jakes Branch County Park offers a balance of active and passive recreation opportunities. The nature center in the park will highlight the beauty, history, and natural surroundings of the Pine Barrens. Breathtaking views of the seemingly endless Pine Barrens can be taken in from the observation deck perched atop the nature center. Jakes Branch will also offer opportunities for soccer, baseball/softball, tennis, and basketball in addition to the miles of nature trails laid out by the staff of the Ocean County Department of Parks and Recreation. The tot lot, picnic grove and open playing fields are sure to appeal to children of all ages. Come on down to Jakes Branch County Park Located at 1100 Double Trouble Rd. in Beachwood, and see the newest addition to the ever expanding Ocean County Parks System.

Directions:
From the North: Garden State Parkway South to Exit 77, end of exit ramp, make right on to Double Trouble Road. Park is approximately 1.5 miles on the left.
From the South: Garden State Parkway North to Exit 77, end of exit ramp, make left onto Pinewald-Keswick Road/County Road 618. Follow C.R. 618 across for about 0.5 miles. Make a right at light onto Double Trouble Road. The park is approximately 2 miles on left.
